likeZEBRA is a growing start up company that is a online promotional tool for indie bands and
unsigned artists. We offer a totally organic suite of online and mobile promotional weapons that allows
bands to create hype for their music.
Provide support and assistance for the Director of A&R and the likeZEBRA team.
The Public Relations Intern will assist the Director of A&R in acquiring new bands and artists for
likeZEBRA, as well as assist in executing marketing and pr initiatives.
1. Assist in grass-roots, traditional and online marketing needs.
2. Develop press releases, blogs, etc. for digital and print publications.
3. Market Research: Developing new marketing strategies based on current and relevant information.
4. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas.
5. Multi-tasking: Working on several projects at a time.
6. Producing accurate and high quality work.
7. Contributing ideas to marketing strategies and new tools for the site.
9. Keeping abreast of developments in social media, indie music industry and competitors.
10. Working to meet tight deadlines.
11. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

3. Ability to learn to work on and off site with a variety of individuals.
1. Knowledge of social media, online marketing and the music industry.

4. Ability to conduct research: understanding of branding and positioning strategies.
5. Exemplary networking skills, ability to get new contacts and generate new opportunities in the
advertising/media and relations sector
